Experiencing the Reflective Properties of Mirrors for Parshas Vayakhel

The kior which was used by the Kohanim for washing was constructed out of the copper mirrors that were donated by the women to the Mishkan. With this science activity, your students will have the opportunity to use mirrors and flashlights to explore how light travels and how mirrors can be used to redirect the path of the light.
The students will explore the reflective properties of mirrors and discover that they can be used to redirect beams of light. They will connect this activity to the kior which was made of mirrors.
