Seasons of the Year
This interactive felt board enables students to clearly portray the changing seasons of the year by showing how the seasons affect the appearance of a tree. Students manipulate felt snowflakes, green leaves, spring blossoms, and colorful fall leaves on a large felt tree. Labels with English and Hebrew words for each season are provided so that students can begin to recognize these site words and match them to the appropriate season as depicted on their felt tree.

Materials needed for felt board:
- 2 legal size folders (9”x14”)
- Turquoise felt for felt board background approx. 28”x16”
- Glue stick
- 3M double sided tape #469
- Scissors
- Laminate
- 9”x12” felt sheets in brown – I sheet for each tree shape you wish to make
- 9’x12” felt sheet – 1 in each of green, white, red, yellow, orange and pink
- 9”x12” felt sheet in neutral color (for backing word labels)
- Tree pattern (attached)
- Die cut leaves mini #28 or attached template
- Die cut flower mini #17 or attached template
- Die cut snowflakes mini #39 or attached template
- Clear tape
- Sharp scissors
