Tu B’Shevat Felt Board Patterning
This felt board activity supports both your Tu B’Shevat curriculum, your thematic unit on colors, and reinforces fine motor and patterning skills. This activity uses felt shapes of a tree and flowers and accompanying patterning cards illustrating simple and increasingly complex pattern sequences. Simple versions can be used for very young students; increasingly complex patterns suitable for older students.

- Large piece of turquoise or medium blue felt approximately 28″x15″
- Felt, medium green (18″x11″)
- Felt squares in brown, blue, orange, pink, purple, red and yellow
- 3M double-sided tape #469
- Scissors
- Tree template (available at learning center)
- Die cut flower shape
- Patterning cards (samples available at learning center)
