Yaakov Agam is a Judaica artist who is a pioneer in kinetic art. In this Agam-inspired Shavuos art piece, the students have to physically shift their vantage point in order to capture the multiple images. This encapsulates the movement that we need as Jews to actively look through a Torah perspective in every direction for the beauty Hashem places in our lives.
Students will use kinesthetic learning to engage with this art project. Students will create two different Shavuos images on the backside of the templates provided for this project and will use Agam’s style to organize and create their final piece. Upon completion, students will physically move through the piece to see the entire image. Students will use in whole body learning to explore and relate to the movement and excitement of Matan Torah.
