Yarn Wrapping Mezuzah Holder
Create a functional mezuzah cover to hang on your doorpost. In Parshas Vaeschanan, Hashem commanded Bnei Yisrael to put a mezuzah on each doorpost as a reminder of Hashem’s protection. A mezuzah is a piece of klaf (parchment) with the Shema inscribed on it, and it is typically placed inside a cover so it will not get damaged. As the students wrap the yarn around the mezuzah holder, they will be able to visualize being wrapped in Hashem’s protection.

- Plastic test tube with cork (6”)
- Craft stick (6”)
- Variety of yarn colors (We used 6 colors, each cut to 30”.)
- Tackyglue
- Small plate
- Paintbrush
- Paper (6.5”x2.5”)
- Pen, pencil, marker
- Scissors
