At the end of his life, Yaakov gathered his sons and blessed each of them. In Reuven’s brachah, Yaakov compared him to a gushing stream because sometimes he acted too quickly! Watch how fast water gushes in this experiment that compares water pressure at different heights. Let’s try to think before we act, not like the water which gushes so quickly; no time for thinking at all!
The students will fill a container with water and compare the pressure of the stream of water from the holes punched at varying heights. Students will conclude that the deeper the water the greater the pressure.
Skills Needed:
focus on task, ability to follow instructions, comparative behavior
