Your students will create this very modern and educational Menorah made from metal “Compression Connectors,” and stones found in Hashem’s natural world. Using the attached worksheet, students will learn how to calculate their specific lighting times based on each day’s time for sunset and their family’s individual minhagim – which will exercise students’ logic and mathematical skills. Finally, they will use chalk to write the times onto the rocks, which can be erased and used every year – as the lighting times change from year to year.
