A project geared towards teaching the different sounds the shofar makes particularly appropriate for tactile learners. Possible Uses: Teachers will use this handout as a teaching tool for tactile learners (learners who internalize information through touch). Students will glue sandpaper and straw onto the page according to the teacher’s directions. They will then be able to feel how many sounds the shofar makes, allowing them to easily internalize the information.
