Pesach Seder Table Matzah Cover and Table Runner
Use these table runners or matzah covers to spark conversation at the Seder table and encourage intergenerational discussions about the story, concepts, and family customs relating to the holiday of Pesach. Students will design and color a table runner or matzah cover using one or all of three techniques: Bleeding Tissue Paper, Tulip Fabric Paint, or Silk Paint.

Materials
All Options:
- Wax paper to protect surface while working
- Scotch tape or masking tape for holding wax paper in place
- Paper for sketching and planning design
- Pencils
- Ivory satin table runner (12” x 108”) or Ivory satin table napkin(20” x 20”)
- Tacky Glue
- Kosher salt
- Fabric trimand/or Fabric Trim
- Flowers
- Sharpie permanent markers in desired colors
- Die cut Hebrew letter shapes (for example, פ,ס,ח) or negative space letter shapes created from the cutout letters
- Optional: Tulip fabric paint and foam brush if using negative space letter shapes
- Spray bottles 16 oz.
