Have your students color these important scenes from Megillas Esther and use the pictures to retell the story of Purim. Once students learn the story, they can invite their readers to Shushan by decorating and personalizing a front cover for the story. Students can staple the pictures together to create a book, or tape them together to create a scroll. As an additional activity, the teacher can mix up the pictures and have the students sequence them in the correct order.
The student will be able to retell the story of Megillas Esther with the support of visual cues from the pictures. The early childhood student will utilize pincer grasp to color within the lines.
