Create this sukkah star decoration to highlight the concept of Hiddur Mitzvah or beautifying the mitzvah. Students will use an interesting embossing technique to create a unique star decoration to enhance their sukkah decor. While they work on the project, have students suggest additional ways of incorporating Hiddur Mitzvah into the holiday of Sukkos.

Extend the learning by discussing the idea of seeing stars through the schach of the sukkah and how this relates to the idea that when we sit in the sukkah, we realize the majesty of Hashem and recognize that we are sitting in His protective shadow.
