Chumash Brainstorm Activity
Increase student participation while reviewing Chumash with this brainstorming activity featuring a set of review topic cards for the 8th perek of Bamidbar. Have students work in small groups and use the accompanying slip cards to record their responses to the topic cards. Then, students can use the accompanying mat to sort their responses into 3 categories–כן (yes), לא (no), or אולי (maybe). A poster with positive tips for encouraging each other’s ideas is also included.
These materials can be used independently or with a cooperative learning structure, such as the Kagan Structure Jot Thoughts, for interactive review. Brief instructions suggesting use with Jot Thoughts are included.
