Button Tu B’Shevat Tree
In honor of Tu B’Shevat create this distinctive tree. Tu B’Shevat starts a new year for the fruits that grow on trees. In Eretz Yisrael it is important to know how much fruit grew in a year so that a percentage can be separated for terumos and ma’asros. The student can add fruits to the trees and count how many there are so the owner would know how much to give.

- Brown pipe cleaners of different shades (we used 7 pipe cleaners and 3 different shades)
- Tempera paint (we used light blue and light green paint)
- Sponge brush
- Hot glue gun
- Buttons of various size and colors
- Template (attached)
- Tacky glue
- Scissors
- Glue stick
