Goals
Goals and Objectives: The student will review the sounds of the letters of the Alef-Beis by matching the letters with pictures beginning with the same letter by matching the letters on their cards with words on another child’s card that begin with the same letter. At the same time, they will practice turn-taking, listening, and co-operative learning skills.
Skills Needed: Alef-Beis sight and auditory recognition, phonemic awareness, knowledge of key vocabulary words, awareness of personal space, active listening
Skills Developed: Students using the Alef-Beis “I Have, Who Has?” game will reinforce their Hebrew letter recognition, phonemic awareness, and Hebrew vocabulary.
