Travel Menorah
Increase anticipation for the holiday of Chanukah with this distinctive menorah suitable for travel and home use. Students will personalize a metal container with alcohol ink designs and create a menorah using pennies and metal hex nuts. This project includes brachos cards featuring blessings and traditional songs in both Hebrew and English, along with guidelines for candle lighting and placement.
Use this project to spark discussion of Pirsum Hanes, publicizing the miracle, and the role of this mitzvah in the celebration of Chanukah.
