Use this poster to illustrate the teaching of the Baal Shulchan Aruch Harav regarding the King is in the field. During the month of Elul, Hashem is closer and more easily accessible to us, similar to a king who leaves his palace and travels to the countryside to be closer to his subjects. Help students internalize the concept that during Elul, Hashem is especially available to hear our concerns and prayers and grant our wishes, and discuss how this impacts the students’ conduct and davening.
Students will be able to retell the parable of the King in the field in their own words.
Students will be able to visualize the parable and pray with greater intent and focus.
Students will be able to evaluate and improve their prayers and actions accordingly.
