Goals
| Goals and Objectives: | The students will create a lovely flower garland to decorate their homes for Shavuos, as they reinforce their anticipation for Shavuos and strengthen their coloring, stringing skills, and patterning skills. |
| Skills Needed: | Students need to have pincer skills, the ability to hold a crayon or marker with the tripod grip, to scribble, and to string large beads. |
| Skills Developed: | Students will develop their coloring, stringing, and patterning skills. |
Materials
- Transparencies or extra laminate
- Flower die cut or use flower template, enclosed
- Hole punch
- Large, early childhood crayons
- Large, colorful beads, enough for students to each have the amount that is appropriate for the students’ developmental ability
- Thick yarn with edge taped to a point or extra-long shoe laces
