NOPE Respect Poster
Reinforce respectful speech with this visually engaging poster that clearly illustrates the types of expression students should not use with their teachers: speech that is Negative, Opposite (contrary), overly Personal, or Expressive of sarcasm or mockery. The first letter of each type of expression forms the fitting acronym, NOPE. Use the poster as a visual cue to accompany lessons on derech eretz and to remind students of expectations for appropriate speech in the classroom.
To add a kinesthetic element to the learning, introduce hand gestures to represent the icons depicting the 4 expression types.
