Money Magnet for Parashas Shoftim

SKU: CRDEV16-RS072

The shoftim (judges) were required to have specific characteristics to be able to carry out their missions of justice with fairness and righteousness. One of these traits was a hatred of money so they would never be tempted to accept a bribe which might cause them to favor one person over another in judgement. In this activity, we prove that U.S. paper money is magnetic. Magnetic ink is used to print our currency and we can prove that using a strong magnet. Money is magnetic, but never to the shoftim!
