This resource will help your students connect to the survivors of the Holocaust and their struggles and successes as they rebuilt their lives on both a personal and national level. The booklet provides the teacher and students with information and first hand reports about life in the Displaced Persons camps, return of the Hidden Children, reorganization of religious life, the activities of the rabbis and Jewish communities on behalf of the survivors, and their resettlement in Israel.
