Gravity in Parashas Matos
In Matos we learn about the war against Midian. Bilaam Harasha employed sorcery which caused him to fly along with the five kings of Midian, says Rashi. Pinchas used the tzitz of the Kohein Gadol to make them fall to the earth. This is a great time to discuss gravity! In this science lesson, the children will explore a force they experience daily. Now they will have the vocabulary to identify it correctly: gravity.
