Smoothly transition to chavrusa (partner) learning in your classroom with this Chavrusa Clock organizational tool. The handout features a clock with space to write names next to each hour. Give each student a copy of the handout sheet and have them ask another student to be their chavrusa for a specific time slot, continuing until all the time slots on the handout are filled. Alternatively, assign partners to your students and hand out already completed sheets.

When you want students to work with a partner, simply tell your class to “learn with your 2 o’clock,” or any other time you choose. Students will know exactly whom to partner with, and you can ensure they work with a variety of partners by cycling through the hours on their sheet.
