Goals
| Goals and Objectives: | The student will create a unique Chanukah card utilizing paper craft skills. Students will develop the middah (attribute) of bein adam l’chaveiro (relationship between a man and his fellow man.) |
| Skills Needed: | Fine motor coordination, hand control, scissor cutting skill, eye-hand coordination, and ability to follow instructions |
| Skills Developed: | Students will developeye-hand coordination, spatial discrimination, developing planning behavior, and ability to focus. |
Materials
- 12” x 6” Piece of cardstock (we used a more solid design)
- 6.5” x 5.75” & 2.5” x 5.75” Same design cardstock (we used a night sky design)
- 11.5” x 3” Piece of cardstock (All cardstock designs we color coordinated and is from Michael’s.)
- 6” x 8” Bright piece of cardstock for the candles
- Templates for candles and lined sheet (attached)
- Ultra Fine Sharpie
- Scoring tool or dried up pen
- Ruler
- Glue stick
- Sponge brush
- Pencil
