Students will create pretty bubbled flowers in honor of Shavuos. Creating flowers for Shavuos commemorates the flowers that adorned Har Sinai at Matan Torah.
Students will learn a unique art technique of bubble painting paper. Using this technique can help facilitate an exploration with color mixing.
Skills Needed:
Focus on task, eye-hand coordination, fine motor skills, and oral motor skills.
Skills Developed:
Students will begin to develop oral motor skills by blowing into the straw to form the bubbles. Using this bubble technique can help children develop fundamentals of color theory and color mixing through the creation of their own food coloring mixtures and by observing the new colors that will appear when different color combinations combine on their paper.
