Act out Parshas Balak with this origami mobile project. When Bilaam looks down from the mountain at Bnei Yisrael to curse them, he sees how the doors of their tents do not face each other, so Bilaam blesses them instead using the words מה טבו. By creating the scene with origami houses and attaching them to a mountain as a mobile, the students will be able to visualize the story and dramatize it.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of the parsha story where Bilaam blesses Bnei Yisrael. They will display their artwork of this easy origami mobile, showcasing how Bnei Yisrael lived modestly by not looking into their neighbors’ houses.
