Ice Cube Alef Beis Activity
Engage students in this multisensory activity to help them review and sharpen their Alef Beis skills. Students manipulate fun, child-sized tongs to sort small plastic cubes labeled with Hebrew letters and vowels. Using the Alef Beis and nekudos chart (HOALF13-RL021) as a guide, students can match the letters or nekudos on the cubes to those on the chart or spell out simple Hebrew words. For an additional sensory element, freeze the cubes and use them cold.
