Actively engage all of your students in learning with this collaborative activity, combining two of Kagan’s Structures. Kagan Structures are cooperative learning activities that are designed to engage all students in the classroom at once. In 10 minutes, using Purim flashcards with questions and answers, your students will partner with multiple classmates in an organized way, to review and teach each other facts about the story of Purim in Megillas Esther and the halachos associated with the holiday while strengthening their social skills and middos. This helps students build the classroom community, work together, and be accountable for their learning as they compliment and/or coach each other to success. Teachers can tailor the cards to the covered classroom content and/or create their own questions with the blank cards provided.
