Sensory Middos Filler Busy Bag

SKU: PRJTH21-RB017

Use this tactile water bead sensory bag to introduce students to the mindset of practicing positive middos and performing mitzvos bein adam lechaveiro. Students will use their fingers to guide water beads into the bucket drawn onto the sensory bag. Focusing on filling the bucket will reinforce the concept of being a bucket filler, which is an early childhood concept Carol McCloud teaches in her book; Have You Filled a Bucket Today. The goal is to imagine walking around with an imaginary bucket and actively using positive middos to fill your bucket with kindness and consideration for others.

Please note: This project is intended to be created by a teacher to utilize as an aid in the classroom.  This is not intended to be created by the student.

I don't know what happened to the quality of art in the couple of years at the teacher's center. The art projects used to be much higher quality and looked great, and would offer interesting creative ideas and techniques. But this project here and all the recent art projects look like all the junk my kids bring home year after year. Also - this project looks dirty - I wouldn't want 20 kids to catch each other's germs after fingering this bag one after the other. Poor choice. What happened at the art department and all the practical and creative ideas?
