Making a Compass for Parashas Devarim

SKU: CRDEV16-RS067

In this parshah, Moshe reminds the Jews of their travels, and how, after spending time around Har Seir, Hashem told them, “You have circled this mountain long enough, turn northward.”
Hashem indicated the specific direction and provided a cloud by day and fire by night as a navigation system. A compass is a tool that can help us navigate and it always points north. In this experiment, the students will create a compass and learn about the earth’s magnetic field.
