In Parashas Behaalosecha, Moshe reiterates the laws of the korban Pesach for the benefit of those that were only able to participate on Pesach Sheini. He reviews the law that the bones of this korban were not allowed to be broken. Bones are hard to break. In this experiment, the students will experience the hardness of a chicken bone, and then observe how it becomes rubbery and pliable after having soaked in vinegar for three days. Calcium is the mineral that makes bones strong. Pass the milk and cheese, please!
