This work of art is designed to connect Chanukah themes with the artistic philosophy and symbolism of Israeli artist Yaacov Agam. Agam’s philosophy emphasizes kinetic art, the role of the viewer, and the importance of appreciating multiple perspectives. It also encourages students to understand that there is often more than one right answer and inspires them to foster achdus in our classrooms, homes, and communities.
Please note that this project is intended solely for display. Lit candles should not be placed in or near this menorah, as it is made of wood and paper and is not fire-safe.
