"למען תספר באזני בנך ובן בנך… וידעתם כי אני ה'" (שמות י', ג')
So that you may relate in the ears of your son and your son’s son… that you may know that I am Hashem.
This pasuk seems to be instructing fathers to relate to their children about the miracles that transpired in מצרים so that we implant in them ‘אמונה בה.
Accordingly, why does the pasuk say "וידעתם כי אני ה'", that you may know כי אני ה', shouldn’t the pasuk say "וידעו כי אני ה'", they will know, your son will know כי אני ה'?
Explains the שר שלום מבעלזע , that the most effective way to teach יראת שמים to children, is for the father to be a ירא שמים.
But by transmitting יראת שמים to our children, we too are impacted and this יראת שמים has a magnificent impact on us too.
